Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about how our home-based primary care and behavioral health services work, what to expect during visits, and how Esenga Health brings care directly to you.
Our services are designed for individuals who face barriers to traditional care—especially those who are underserved, living with disabilities, managing multiple chronic conditions, or recovering after hospitalization.
We also support patients who benefit from consistent, home-based care because of mobility challenges, complex medical needs, or difficulty accessing routine appointments.
We provide full primary care and behavioral health care services—just like a traditional clinic—but we come to you. This includes physical exams, medication management, lab orders, and ongoing care, all in your home.
We’ll review your medical history, take vital signs, answer your questions, perform an exam if needed, and determine if labs, imaging, or referrals are necessary.
Together, we create a personalized care plan—right in your home, without the stress of a clinic visit.
Often, yes. Because we provide primary care services, home visits may be covered similarly to office visits depending on your insurance plan. We can help verify your coverage.
We primarily serve Worcester County and Hampden County, along with surrounding areas in Massachusetts.
If you're unsure whether we cover your location, just reach out—we may still be able to accommodate you.
Yes. Basic testing like vital signs and some fingerstick labs can be done during your visit. For additional labs or imaging, we coordinate mobile services that come to your home when possible.
For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For urgent concerns, seek immediate care and then follow up with us so we can continue your care at home.
